Bangkok Day 6

Hello everyone! Today was our second last day in Bangkok. We started the day with a nice relaxation session by the pool. The sky was clear and the sun was scorching after 10min of sunbathing we were sweating like pigs in the desert. I now know what it feels like to get properly grilled. We swam and got oursleves a decent tan. After dinner we headed out to the night market at Pat Pong, our what we thought was a night market.

Yes there were stalls like on Khao San rd, but the street was lined with clubs offering economically persuaded people of the female persuasion. I won't say all were women because some of them were men and others something inbetween. I won't go into detail, you've all heard the story so take that and multiply it by ten and you're close to the truth. Not very nice, but as long as you stick to the stalls in the middle of the road its pretty cool. We shopped around a little and i ended up buying a new wallet because my old one was in bad shape. We finally decided to sit down at one of the NON go-go pom-pom bars. We ordered a beer and a 3 times the normal price was quoted, damn it we thought until we finally understood that the price was for both beers (que the sound for a long breath of relief). Back to the hotel now and packing for our trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Rant of the day:

1. Salesmanship and customer service are two things this place knows nothing about :D

2. I still don't want a suite, massage or see a ping pong show

Bonus of the day:

Excellent food, a good tan and still loving that AC baby!!!
