TJ 2, gangsters and school work!

All-sprite so its 2 days, 1 class and no school work left until departure. Today i finished off my papers and the presentation i have to make on monday so everything is lock, stock and two smoking barrels. Tuesday is reserved for packing, shipping and clearing house. Then tuesday night we take the bus to Taipei and stay there one night for a final departure on thursday.

The weirdest thing happened this week though, on friday we went out with a large group of people for dinner and clubbing as it was two of the philipino girls' birthdays. We had a really good run until about 4 in the morning when we got to a nightclub called dreams. Outside dreams some of the locals started acting weird and agressive. They singled out Joe and about 14 of them jumped him with night sticks, cones and street signs. The rest of the gangsters kept us back with night sticks and other small weapons. The funny thing was that 14 of them only got a couple of scratches on him and a bump on the head while he laid out 3 of them before the police came. We had to take Joe to the hospital (who by the way were completetly incompetent) but luckily as he had no major damage done to him, we got out of there quickly enough. We were later informed by the police that they were local gangsters... nice... so now you know... stay away from "Dreams" in Kaohsiung. It really sucks though because i had such a good impression of Taiwan and the taiwanese and then this happens :(
